After the “Untitled” of last year which was uni-sex, Maison Martin Margiela (MMM) has just released its new fragrance for women, the Replica. They are 3, Beach Walk (bergamot orange, lemon and pink pepper), Funfair Evening (the greed of the marshmallow and the toffy) & Flower Market (freesia, rose petals and jasmine), each are different, but they have one thing in commun, they want to remind you your childhood.

The Flower Market is more appropriate for a little stroll in Paris with its soft parfum, the Funfair Evening, greedier, will come along your afternoon at the swimming-pool or the beach. To dress them, MMM opted for apothecary’s flasks in the minimalist style, a cotton label which explains the origin, the function and the period of the reproduced scent.

Available this summer from the 30th July, the price is around £55 / 100 ml.

I haven’t started exams yet, my first one is on Monday so I took a break from my revisions and I spent it doing my favorite hobby; e-shopping. So, this is my current wish-list and my first one on my blog, I will try to update it monthly.

1. Alexander McQueen 2. Hackett 3. Maison Martin Margiela 4. Kiel James Patrick
5. Aubin & Wills  6. Maison Martin Margiela 7. Sperry Original’s
Firstly about the printed T-shirt; I didn’t buy any t-shirt recently and I found this one attractive (but I prefer the blue background version) with the skull, the icon of A.McQueen otherwise I don’t really like t-shirt. The trousers is a real need because I don’t have any raspberry pair and I want a pair because it’s a smooth colour for the summer (as the other clothes), but finding one in w26/27 is … hard.

This is my first outfit picture, not my favorite one because it’s for a competition at the Gallerie Lafayette, therefore it is a real casual outfit (a better view, because I don’t usually wear trousers coming up to my navel, so just have a look here sorry for the mess ;) )

Eyewear: Tod’s
Knitwear: JackWills
Chino: Gant Rugger
Socks: Archiduchesse
Car shoes: Bobbies Shoes

You can vote here/

The jumper is navy but the contrast is actually not good enough to show the right colour. Socks are raspberry (kind of a bright raspberry colour). The chino is a petrol blue- which matches the navy jumper perfectly.

The car shoes in caramel, are from Bobbies- a French brand established in Paris. I have worked for them in Toulouse as a salesman. I did it great, I made some sales, if you travel down to Toulouse, you’ll remember my post!

By the way the socks are handmade in France.- they have plenty of colours available on their website.

Beneath the nice weather of Versailles, the most French place in France, Chanel shows its new Cruise collection to the world. Dressed in light colours, girls walked around the garden and captivated our eyes. Why would you not one of its outfits for your next cruise?

This collection will stay longer than a normal collection, like the summer one, maybe because it’s a best-seller for each of the Houses.

Did I tell you that my great-grandma was a dressmaker at Chanel?

The Print is back.

Everyone knows Versace and its extravagant taste for prints. Most of  you said that you will never wear this. But due to the success of the Versace x HM collaboration (it’s not a fact, but I’m pretty sure it does from somewhere) the print is, for the Spring/Summer 2012, a must-have in your dressing.
To come along with your formal wears of the week, you will be able to put some drawings and colours on your shirt for the week-end. Just look at the Prada shirt, inspired by a cartoon, or the Burberry “ikat” trousers, which is a more abstract aztec pattern.

Burberry SS12 Ikat trouser

As the first sight, it could be hard to match it with your outfit, but it doesn’t really need to. The printed clothes is here to be unsuited, to be spotted at the first sight:
“Hey yo, I’m not correctly matched, come on and argue with that I’m a printed shirt/trouser, and this is how I want to be worn.”

Every time in magazines, you can easily see photoshopped-pictures and affirm that they are not real. Girls used on covers and as models are all touched-up in this way. But this is not the reality, not the average girl in the street, who is in fact their principal customers. Due to its new promotion H&M has had to apologize for the fake tan used on their models for the swimwear collection and for an abuse of photoshop. Because as you know H&M is the second largest ready-to-wear company in the world thus a lot of young girls and boys are looking at them with admiration and envy; by this kind of promotion, H&M does not warn girls (and … a few boys) of the dangers that tanning machines can do to the skin, namely skin cancer.

H&M got a sunburn
