Just before my trip to China I got by mail the new advertisement for the last Miss Dior campaign and I had to say that the floral scent of this fragrance is just a wonderful pleasure to smell. It is one of my favourite fragrance for women. Why mixing a fragrance and the last collection by Dior? Have a look at that video and try to see the common point, this floral scent from the fragrance, you can feel the same from this collection, around Spring and Summer, colourful and light.

To match with the collection I found the settings for the FW a bit more harmonious than the one in Shanghai, running the catwalk surrounding by bushes and trees was more in the scent of this collection. I wanted to share with you, as always, my four-favourites outfits from this season –

Cheers,

Thomas

Dior has just started its new Lady Dior reportage about its backstage. For the first time in the history of Dior videos we can catch a glimpse of the Busy Hands in their workshop in Paris. The Petites-Mains of Dior are working, “designing, cutting,  fitting & sewing the latest dresses to be worn by” the international French-Superstar Marion Cotillard. As you know the French Icon used to wear Dior’s outfits under the Lady Noir Affair, Lady Grey, Lady Blue, Lady Rouge & LA-dy Dior label and she has now been promoted to the Lady Dior rank (!!).

We all know that the internet brought a huge amount of new tools for Brands & Designers to sell their products and share their work while creating our needs. Burberry was a pioneer in this field with its numeric experience based on the “Art of the Trench” allowing its customers to share their outfits directly on the website. Another example is that Maison Martin Margiela (MMM) which imagined a groundbreaking concept for their website & E-shop, offering a new shopping experience to their visitors (have a look!). On the Dior website, it is in the style of a diary that Marion Cotillard tells us the story of her dresses as she welcomes us into the Dior universe.
Cheers,

Thomas

A bientôt,

Thomas
